Contemporary Art in and with nature

TECOMAH, the School of Environment affiliated to the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry organises les Environnementales, the 6th open air biennial of contemporary art.

For two months, 7 internationally renowned artists occupy the landscaped park of TECOMAH in Jouy-en-Josas where they present their unedited and ephemeral pieces of art set up with the support of TECOMAH students.

To work together on site with some of the world's best artists means to create with a spirit of research, experimentation and audacity. Contemporary art becomes here a vector of teaching knowledge, know-how and ways of living which have been integrated in syllabuses and programmes at TECOMAH.

Organising the 6th biennial gives an opportunity to students who fancy to dare, to invent, to experiment.

Located 12 miles (20km) from Paris, this contemporary art exhibition “in” and “with” nature, is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the Regional Council of Ile-de-France, the Local Council of Yvelines department , the Academy of Versailles and numerous private companies.
